Our Postpartum Rehabilitation Program incorporates work on the ball, the reformer, and the mat. The sessions concentrate on rebuilding endurance and stamina with resistance work. strengthening and toning key areas like the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles. You will gently gain flexibility and suppleness safely and with minimal impact. The abdominal exercises are designed with consideration for a separation of the recti muscles, and specific exercises are intended to realign and strengthen the pelvis and spine. Address postpartum experiences; such as low back pain, episiotomy, vaginal tearing, diastasis recti, pelvis separation (pubis symphasis derangement), C-section recovery, and postural support.
If your delivery was natural, cesarean, if you have a diastasis, or you had to have an episiotomy or significant vaginal tearing, Pilates can get you back to feeling like yourself again. You’ll find nursing support and acceptance if you need or choose to supplement. Moore Wellness Studio is a safe space to build community and find support as you start your adventure in motherhood.
