Cardio Tramp on the reformer was inspired by the need for a method of cardio that reinforces Pilates’ alignment principles and optimal posture. Because rebounding combines the forces of acceleration, deceleration and gravity, it strengthens every cell in your body. Cardio Tramp technique transfers the vertical axis to horizontal while in a supine position on the reformer, giving tactile awareness to strengthen the deep postural muscles in ideal spinal alignment.

Most importantly... the cardio tramp is fun! Children know this instinctively and bounce whenever they have the chance. "Bouncing" is naturally stimulating - we bounce babies in our arms, toddlers on our knees, and most of us loved trampolines (or beds!) through our youth.
