The Pregnancy Fitness Program will help you address the needs of your rapidly changing body. Mothers-to-be will gain flexibility and strengthen their body in preparation for labor and delivery. The program includes resistance work and relieves stress through breathing/visualizations techniques. It also addresses common issues such as low back pain and sciatica.
Exercise during pregnancy has been shown to aid in maintaining a womans previous level of fitness as well as preparing for the demands of labor and delivery. Research suggests a shorter recovery time during postpartum rehabilitation. Exercise such as Pilates promotes good posture and body mechanics. helping build body awareness which is instrumental in the early postpartum phase. The Pregnancy Fitness Program also helps to boost self-esteem and mood.
Moore Wellness Studio is here to help you as you prepare for your childbirth journey. We are also here to help you find a community of other moms.
